Kimberley Becker is the founder of Decisive Dental Solutions. I have had the great privilege of working in the dental/ medical industry for 30 plus years. My roots are founded in the dental profession as an RDA in multiple key positions and I have had the unique privilege of progressive succession as a Senior Health Administer of a large health care facility as the director of operations.
What seems like a lifetime ago now, is when my desire to consult took fight. I was running a dental office in a medical facility for medically compromises clients. When the ADA started to audit clinics. I had already been accustomed to infection control audits and a host of other regulatory process experiences and had written the required facility policy and procedures. I knew I could be of assistance to the many dentists out there who just wanted to focus on dentistry. Over the course of many years, I traveled Alberta and visited hundreds of dental/denturists offices to write customized policy and procedures from infection control to Occupation Health and Safety.
My Experience in Health Care Administration and Operations Management has allowed me to bring teams together, build a client center care experience to the practice creating a value add. Human Resources and on boarding team members can be a challenging task, I love to build dynamic teams. Training and education are key to the success of the practice and the team that works within them. I can share with you that all the offices I consulted with, passed their audits with 100% success rate.
Over my tenure as the director of operations. I had many opportunities to continue my education and develop and hone my skill as I was responsible for multiple aspects of the operation- infection prevention and control, health and safety, equipment procurement, education development, website development with marketing with video content, customer service communications with patients and key stakeholders, corporate modernization and renovations, one of the key leads through the Covid 19 pandemic both for the facility and dental suit, and lead the staff and facility to the first ever Accreditation with the prestigious designation of “Exemplary Standing”. I was grateful to work with an amazing team.
